Medical Complications Suspected in North Seattle Injury Accident

35th ave ne & 110th ave neNorth Seattle – A man was driving his 1998 Ford Explorer on 11000 block of 35th Avenue Northeast just before 7am on Friday when he swerved suddenly, sideswiped a parked van and then slammed into a parked SUV. Neither vehicle was occupied at the time.

It is speculated that he was going at a high speed or sped up at the time of the incident because he hit the SUV so hard that the vehicle was pushed onto the sidewalk, careened off of a tree, and came to a rest propped against a light pole.

The man was unconscious at the scene of the accident and appeared seriously injured. Fire Department Medics took him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

At first, Investigators suspected that alcohol may have contributed to the cause, but upon further investigation have determined that neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the incident. Instead they are waiting for a medical explanation. The investigation continues.
