Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Bonneville Power Station

motorcycle accidentA 20 year old man was driving his motorcycle apparently at an extremely high speed up NE 15th Avenue in Vancouver, WA at around 2 pm in the afternoon on Saturday when he came to a T-section of the road. The road continued, but was blocked by a fence and concrete barrier to discourage unauthorized vehicles from entering the Bonneville Power Station Ross Complex.

Washington State Patrol reported that he slammed into the concrete barrier. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical units.

Police are withholding the man’s name until his family is notified.

The Vancouver Police Traffic Team has restricted access to the area as part of the investigation into the accident.

Our condolences go out to the family in the wrongful death of their loved one.

When riding a motorcycle there are so many different factors to keep in mind such as state of the road, debris, and even glare that speeding can change these factors from an injury motorcycle accident to a fatal motorcycle accident.
