Joyce received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Washington and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law. While earning her law degree, she actively participated in Moot Court Board as a treasurer, Seattle Journal of Environmental Law as an Administrative Editor, and Asian Pacific Islander Law Students Association as a secretary.
She is a member of The Order of Barristers recognizing her exceptional skills in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. As a finalist for multiple Oral Advocacy Competitions, she has also competed at the National Trial Competition in 2015, Regional Thomas Tang Competition in 2015, and placed first at the 2017 In-House Appellate Competition.
Prior to joining Phillips Law Firm, Joyce has worked in disability rights law, family law, and business law in-house. During her free time, Joyce enjoys learning to play the piano and guitar, sewing, and practicing her tennis skills.
